This Privacy Policy explains how SetBreak (“the App”) handles information when you use the SetBreak mobile application (package: com.gym.setbreaktimer). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

• No account or profile data: The App does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or other direct personal details.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically on Your Device

All of the following data is stored locally on your device and is not sent to our servers:

• Workout usage data
  • Number of rest sessions and sets
  • Session dates and simple statistics such as total rest time and average rest time
• Preferences & settings
  • Default rest duration
  • Sound, haptic, interval alerts, voice alerts, auto-start, and heads-down mode preferences
• Anonymous device identifier
  • A random guest ID generated on first launch to keep your stats separate on your device

1.3 Purchase & Subscription Information

• Google Play Billing
  • When you purchase SetBreak Premium, Google Play handles payment processing.
  • We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
  • We may receive anonymous purchase tokens and subscription status from Google Play to unlock or revoke premium features on your device.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Run the core features of the App (timers, stats, streaks, settings)
• Maintain your Premium status on your device
• Improve your in-app experience (e.g., interval alerts, notifications, widgets)

We do not sell your data to third parties and do not use it for cross-app advertising tracking.

3. Data Storage and Retention

• All workout history and settings are stored using local storage on your device.
• If you uninstall the App or clear its data, this locally stored information is deleted.
• We do not maintain separate cloud backups of your personal workout data.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google Play Services & Google Play Billing – to distribute the App, process in-app purchases, and manage subscriptions.
• Operating system push notification services (Apple / Google) – to deliver rest-completion and reminder notifications.
• Expo & React Native libraries – to provide the technical framework for the App. These libraries may process technical information necessary to run the App (e.g., crash logs or performance data) in accordance with their own privacy policies.

5. Permissions

The App may request the following permissions:

• Notifications – to alert you when a rest period is complete and for interval alerts.
• Vibration / Haptics – to provide tactile feedback during timers.
• Storage / local data access – to save your preferences and workout history locally on your device.
• Billing (com.android.vending.BILLING) – required by Google Play to process in-app purchases and subscriptions.

We do not use the camera or microphone for any feature of SetBreak, and the CAMERA permission is not required or requested by the App at runtime.

6. Children’s Privacy

SetBreak is designed for general fitness use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data stored on your device and any limited information processed through third-party services. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept those changes.
