Who We Are

What This Covers
This policy covers data collected by the App and our website pages that link here. It doesn’t cover third-party services you choose to use (for example, email, cloud storage, or your mobile platform’s services).
Data We Process
Data you create in the App (stored on device by default)
- Trip and mileage data: miles by state or province, trip start/stop, timestamps.
- Fuel logs: station name, state/province, gallons/liters, price, tax-included toggle.
- Receipt photos: images you capture and attach to fuel stops.
- Reports: IFTA/IRP mileage, fleet MPG, taxable gallons, liability/credit totals.
Device data we use
- Location (GPS): precise location only during an active trip for miles-by-state tracking and border detection. You can stop tracking at any time.
- Diagnostics: basic crash/error information provided by your device or app store to help us fix issues.
Account and support
- Account basics (if you create one): email and a hashed identifier so you can sign in and manage a subscription.
- Support messages: details you send us when you request help (text, screenshots, logs you choose to attach).
How We Use Data
- Provide core features: GPS miles-by-state, fuel log, IFTA math, and report exports.
- Maintain and improve the App: fix bugs, enhance accuracy near borders, and improve entry speed.
- Operate subscriptions and purchase history through Apple or Google.
- Respond to your requests: support, feedback, and account-related notices.
Cloud Sync and Backups (Optional)
The App works offline and keeps your data on your device by default. If you turn on cloud backup or sign in to sync, your trip data, fuel logs, receipt photos, and reports may be encrypted and stored with our cloud provider (replace with provider name). You can turn sync off at any time and request deletion of cloud copies (see “Your Choices”).
Data Retention
- On device: data stays until you delete it in the App or uninstall the App.
- Cloud (if enabled): kept until you delete it in the App or ask us to delete server copies.
- Support emails: kept as long as needed to resolve your issue and for reasonable record-keeping.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of storage or transfer is 100% secure. Please keep your device updated and use a passcode/biometrics.
Your Choices & Rights
- Location: you can allow or deny GPS. The App needs GPS for automatic miles-by-state, but you can enter miles manually.
- View, edit, delete: you can edit or remove trips, fuel logs, and photos inside the App.
- Exports: you decide when to create and share PDF/CSV files.
- Cloud data: if you enabled cloud sync, you can turn it off and request deletion by contacting us.
- Marketing: we don’t run ads in the App and don’t sell data.
EEA/UK residents: where applicable, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data. Our typical legal bases are: to perform a contract (provide the App), legitimate interests (improve and secure the App), and consent (for optional features like cloud sync). Contact us to exercise rights.
US residents (including CA): you may have rights to know, delete, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don’t sell data or use cross-context ads. You can contact us with requests.
Children’s Privacy
The App is for professional drivers and is not directed to children. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age required by local law (typically 13–16). If you think a child provided data, contact us and we’ll delete it.
International Transfers
If you enable cloud sync, your data may be processed in countries other than where you live. We take steps to protect it as described in this policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect the App or legal requirements. We’ll change the “Last updated” date and, when changes are material, we’ll provide in-app or email notice where required.
